For over a decade spent behind the scenes of elite sport, I witnessed a stark reality: an athlete's career burns bright but fast. Money flows in, sometimes very quickly, yet the "second life" that follows retirement is often a daunting blank page. Fifteen years ago, I founded TNG Invest with a straightforward conviction: I wanted to provide lasting financial stability and prosperity for these athletes. And to me, that security lies in bricks and mortar. But not just any property. Investing in real estate isn't simply about buying a flat and finding a tenant. It's about selecting properties where a precise alchemy takes place: a blend of profitability, beauty, and above all, character. The "Maison de Maître" philosophy This is my first criterion. I won't buy just any building. I have a visceral need to work with structures that exude charm, that radiate something. At TNG Invest, we focus almost exclusively on Brussels' maisons de maître. The ambition is clear: to preserve the soul of the old while modernising it with today's construction techniques. I want to offer our tenants the mouldings, the soaring ceilings and the period proportions, married to the comfort of contemporary, minimalist design .
